Thanks for your input. I've never seen a "Scottoiler" before. Is there somewhere I can see a picture of one? eg. dennis kirk etc. Where does it mount? I'm not sure I like the idea of extra chrome on the drifter either, but I do like the solo seat, as I don't do much 2-up riding. (obvious solution is to mount a solo on a pre 2001 model) I've never had a chain drive before (except when I was in the army, and rode an Armstrong, as a dispatch rider, but I didn't have to maintain it) all my bikes have been shaft or belt drive.
